Our client Dave bought a new house with a large garden that was severely neglected and in need of desperate restoration. The boundaries of the garden needed to be defined, for which we created a bespoke cedar trellis which gave us an instant result of privacy and helped to contain the garden in a stylish manner.
Another issue was that the house was elevated which meant that access was limited. To overcome this, we incorporated both steps and terraces into the final design and build using grey composite decking which gave a fresh and contemporary look to the garden.
We also used the hard wearing composite decking for the benches and kids areas to ensure these features could comfortably withstand the day to day usage of the family.
We finished off the garden by creating a series of wooden garden structures including a vertical screen and pergola, painted grey to compliment the composite decking areas and give a contemporary feel to the space.
“Looking forward to the summer now”
Thanks, we are very happy and the kids love it, looking forward to the summer now. The patio looks fantastic and we couldn’t have wished for a better end to the project Over the moon with the new space!
